Tour summary

Days 1 - 5

South Africa - Leaving Cape Town we head East through the Great Karoo heartland and cross the Orange River Stopping at The Big Hole” in Kimberley. We then continue to Johannesburg where you can visit Soweto and the gold mines amongst other things.

Days 6 - 12

South Africa, Botswana - Leaving Johannesburg we head to Botswana to the Okavango Delta. From there we head up to the Chobe River for an afternoon boat cruise. 

Days 12 - 18

It’s then to Victoria Falls in Zambia for activity at every corner. Up to the Capital of Lusaka  to South Luangwa National Park.

Days 19 - 27

Malawi & Tanzania - To the shore of Lake Malawi next, to try your hand at diving, horse riding and sailing. Up to Chitimba Beach then into Tanzania and Baobab valley and on to the Indian Ocean and Dar es Salaam.  From here you head to Zanzibar Island.

Days 28 - 33

Tanzania, Kenya -After a few optional days on Zanzibar the tour passes Kilimanjaro and |Mt Meru beside Arusha.  From here you can take an optional trip to the Serengeti National Park & Ngorongoro Crater.  From here we cross into Kenya then into Nairobi.

Days 34 – 40

Kenya - Uganda - Rift Valley to the highlands of Kenya. Crossing the equator we camp on the shores of Lake Bunyonyi and trek to the Mountain Gorillas.

Days 41 – 54

Uganda - From Kampala we arrive at Jinja on the shores of Lake Victoria. You can spend an action-filled day white water rafting down the Nile.

Kenya - we visit Lake Nakuru, sometimes millions of pink flamingoes.

We move on to camp on the shores of Lake Naivasha Close by is Hell's Gate National Park and Elsamere, We head west to the Masai Mara before we return to Nairobi.
