What is Hardtop Accommodation?

An overland safari is a lot of fun but sleeping in tents is not for everyone. On this trip instead of camping you can upgrade to a room with a comfy mattress, pillows and bedding. The rooms have either attached or nearby bathroom.

The rooms, chalets, bungalows or permanent tents are basic twin shares. A single supplement applies for single travellers.

Trip Participation

With the budget accommodation option you will be expected to participate in the day to day running of the trip. That is the same as the campers that you will travel with. On parts of the trip you can choose to camp. If this is the case we’ll let know if you’ll need your own sleeping bag.
