Visa and Passport
Your passport must be valid for at least 6 months after finishing the trip with one clear page for each country visited, plus 7 extra just in case pages. You’ll need to bring passport size photos and photocopies of your passport photo page.

London to Ghana – West Africa – 14 blank pages, 12 passport photos.
London to Cape – Town Trans Africa – 30 blank pages, 20 passport photos, Start your trip with a new passport, a larger size if available.
Trans Africa – London to Nairobi – 40 blank pages, 20 passport photos. Start your trip with a larger size passport, if your country doesn’t issue a large passport get two passports.
London to Cairo – Trans Africa  – 55 blank pages, 35 passport photos Start your trip with a larger size passport, if your country doesn’t issue a large passport get two passports.
Cape Town to Cairo & v/v – Nile Expedition -20 blank pages, 6 passport photos.
Nairobi to Cairo & v/v -12 blank pages, 6 passport photos.
Ghana to Cape Town– West Africa – 14 blank pages, 12 passport photos.

Before doing this trip, get a frequent traveller or jumbo size passport, with more pages than a standard passport. Canadians, who cannot get a jumbo passport, should get a second passport before travelling.

You will need you to get just one or two visas before departure. 

No Israeli stamps in your passport or border stamps exiting neighbouring countries towards Israel. This may well soon change.
